A report by the Construction Industry Institute compared 120 projects in the US with a LOW, a Medium and a HiGH levels of planning. Comparing projects shows planning saves time, money and improves the quality of the deliverables. The study included 44 projects in the cost range between $4 million and $350 million with a median of $26 million. The quality of planning was ranked on the seven following factors:
